Commencement Headquarters
Commencement Headquarters is located in the Barnes and Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore in the Campbell Student Union. Here, you can register for Commencement; obtain your guest tickets; and purchase your cap, gown, hood, stole, tassel, announcements, diploma cover, and other graduation accessories.

Registration and ticket distribution begins with the Commencement Kickoff event on April 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the bookstore. This special one-day event provides one-stop shopping for all your graduation needs.
Following the event, Commencement Headquarters will continue to be located in the bookstore through May 3 (bookstore hours above).

Gold honors cord - $15.10 (Bachelor's degree candidates who qualify for honors at Commencement and who applied for their degrees by the appropriate deadlines will receive a notification letter at their permanent addresses in March. Out of town or student teaching?
If you are currently living out of town, complete the out-of-town cap and gown order card (PDF, 101KB). Mail it with payment and your registration card (PDF, 102KB) to the Barnes and Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Campbell Student Union, Buffalo, NY 14222-1095. Orders must be received by April 11.
You may request to have your academic regalia purchase sent to your home (add $6.95 for shipping and handling), or indicate that you will pick up your order in the bookstore by April 18.
