FAMILIES AND GUESTS

Master's/C.A.S. Ceremony, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

  • Doors to Sports Arena (live ceremony) open for guests at 5:00 p.m. (guest tickets required)

Guest tickets for open seating in the Sports Arena are required. (Master's and C.A.S. graduates each may receive up to 10 guest tickets.) The arena features a combination of stadium chair and bleacher seating.

Note: Please know that small children also will require a guest ticket. You may wish to consider not bringing small children, as they likely will be unable to sit through the lengthy ceremony.

Guests should use the Sports Arena map (PDF, 35KB) to determine where their graduates will be seated by faculty area. The following is a list of majors by faculty area.

Seating for Master's and C.A.S. Graduates

School of Arts and Humanities
Art conservation, art education, English.

School of Education
Adult education, bilingual special education, career and technical education, elementary education, exceptional education (special education), literacy specialist.

School of Natural and Social Sciences
Biology, chemistry, earth science education, economics, history and social studies education, mathematics, museum studies, physics.

School of the Professions
Business and marketing education, creative studies, educational computing, criminal justice, industrial technology, speech-language pathology, student personnel administration, technology education.

Graduate School (look for M.D.S. on the map): Multidisciplinary studies.

Certificate of Advanced Study (look for C.A.S. on the map): Educational leadership.
