Credits Without Classes
CLEP - College Level Examination Program allows students to test out of certain courses. The exam costs $60 (Fall 2006) plus $20 administrative fee; contact Deborah Jones, Admissions Adviser, (716) 878-4081. Follow this link for a list of exams and Buffalo State course equivalents.
Course Challenge and Experential Learning Credit are options available to students who can document that previous professional or educational experiences are equivalent to college-level learning. Contact the chair of the Communication Department for media- or communication-related experience.
