1. Submit a progress report (PDK, 16KB) to document your Independent Project or Study.

2. Submit a completed work:

  • Independent projects should result in a completed project (such as a CD, videotape, audiotape, portfolio, Web site, etc.), as well as a written report of at least 10 pages in which the student reviews the activities associated with the project, discusses strengths and weaknesses of the project, and assesses what s/he learned in the project. 
  • Independent Studies should result in the submission of two bound copies of the final manuscript. The expectation is between 20 and 25 pages per credit hour; thus a standard three-credit study would result in a final manuscript of about 60 to 75 pages. Note: Spread over a typical 15-week semester, this is four to five pages a week
