Profession-based majors for career preparation
Public Communication  (B.A.) Public relations, advertising and organizational communication
Media Production (B.A.) Radio/audio, television/video, and digital production
Journalism (B.A.) Sequences in print/online journalism and broadcast news

General major rooted in the Humanities
Communication Studies (B.A.) Theory and analysis courses with some professional course requirements

Interdepartmental major with courses from Communication, English and Theater
Television & Film Arts (B.A.) Writing/storytelling track and directing/producing track focusing on careers in the entertainment industry 

Note: All Communication students should have expertise in an area beyond communication, through an associate's degree, a concentration of 4 or more classes in a particular discipline, a minor of  7 courses in another department, or a second major
