Journalism Junior 'Athlete of the Week'
Women's basketball player Darnika Moseley was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week for the third time during the winter 2005-06 season.
Moseley is a junior journalism major in the Communication Department and a graduate of Liverpool High School in Liverpool (Onondaga County)..
She paced the Bengals to a 2-1 week, averaging 13.7 points and 10.7 rebounds-per-game. She recorded double-doubles (points and rebounds) in wins over Medaille and New Paltz and scored a game-high 18 points in a loss to Ithaca. Moseley became just the eighth player in school history to surpass 600 career points (663) and 500 rebounds (506).
