Department Hosts Rough Cut Screening by Oscar-Nominated Documentary Film Producer
The Communication Department will host a rough cut preview focus group screening of the documentary, "We Love You," a 40-minute film about a group of utopian anarchists who create temporary cities deep in national forests, much to the chagrin of federal law enforcement authorities who try to control them.
"We Love You" is produced by three-time Oscar nominee Steve Kalafer, directed by Jonathan Kalafer (producer of "The Diary of Immaculee," and features consulting producer and Buffalo State College Associate Professor of Communication Michael Niman.
The screening, held in conjunction with New Jersey Films, will take place on at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23. in Bacon 117. It is free and open to the Buffalo State College community.
