Summer Music Institute 2013 - Summer 2013, July 8, 2013 to August  3, 2013
This summer Buffalo State will be hosting a Summer Music Institute. The SMI is for students in grades 7 to 12.There will be two camps: Classic Camp and Jazz & Rock Camp. Students can register for either camp or both camps. Each camp will allow students to continue their musical development in an intensive two-week camp. At the conclusions of both camps student will perform at Canalside as part of the Music is Art Summer concert series. Click here for more information

Work-Based Learning program - Fall 2013, August 26, 2013 to December 12, 2013
Work-based learning (WBL) is the “umbrella” name used to identify activities which collaboratively engage employers and schools in providing structured learning experiences for students. Click here for more information

Weather and the Expert Witness - Fall 2013, September 3, 2013 to Octoeber 8, 2013,
Tuesdays, 5:00 pm to 7:30pm, Classroom Building, Room A400 (4th Floor Penthouse)

Meteorologists and Climatologists are often called upon to provide expert testimony in trial situations, as well as to governmental agencies. This one credit course focuses on the role and expectations of the expert witness from the perspective of the legal community, including attorneys and the courts. (brochure)
