The World Wide Web is a vast resource of information which can be useful in every aspect of our lives. On this page is a collection of only a few of these resources which can be of use to you as a member of the Buffalo State College CAO Partnership. These resources fall into two broad categories of information. The two categories are local and state resources for early childhood educators, and national resources for early childhood educators.

The Activity Idea Place- preschool and toddler lesson plans
Welcome to the Activity Idea Place - the theme based lesson plan resource.
This website started in 1998 as part of an Early Childhood Education project called the file box. We host over 3400 lesson plan ideas for toddler, preschool and kindergarten teachers. (Well over the 100 ideas required for my class) If you would like to skip to the lesson plans, click "Activity Index-Themes" above. I took a lot of time to develop with and write each of the lesson plan ideas on this site. You may not publish (i.e. websites, email, newsletters, books, etc) them in any way without my permission. Please feel free to link to the Activity Idea Place. Thank you for visiting. Amber.
