The Mission of the Buffalo State Counseling Center

The Counseling Center dedicates itself to providing students with mental health services with a focus on support, education, and advocacy for their personal and academic growth. We are especially committed to strengthening each student's ability to live and work successfully in a diverse society. We foster the holistic development of students through enhanced self-awareness, emotional support, and encouraging engagement in the campus experience.  Furthermore, in partnership with the staff and faculty, we are invested in promoting and facilitating a civil and caring community at Buffalo State College.
