The Mission of the Buffalo State Counseling Center
The Counseling Center dedicates itself to providing students with support, education, and advocacy for their personal and academic success. Furthermore, we are especially committed to promoting each student's ability to live and work in a diverse society. Through our unique position in the College we foster the holistic development of students through self-awareness, emotional support, and community involvement.

There is growing concern among national and international public health officials about the swine flu. There have been confirmed human cases of the infection reported in several countries and in the United States. As a precaution we would like to ask you to follow the Center for Disease Control’s suggestion and do not come to work or school if you have any of the following symptoms:
Sudden fever, Body aches,Coughing, Unexplained fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Runny nose and Sore throat
