Through our unique position in the College we foster the holistic development of students through self-awareness, emotional support, and community involvement.
If you think you could benefit from counseling or mental health services at BSC Counseling Center, call (716) 878-4436 and schedule a Mental Health Assessment to help identify what services could be helpful to you. A Mental Health Assessment appointment should be available to you within the week.
If you cannot wait for an appointment because your situation is urgent and/or you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please walk in or call (716) 878-4436 during business hours and ask for an emergency mental health appointment. You will be seen by a staff member as soon as possible. A crisis consultation can help a student address urgent concerns, identity how to cope with the situation, and connect the student with helpful resources.
If you or someone you know are experiencing a crisis or psychological emergency after business hours, please call the Crisis Services (716) 834-3131 or go to your local hospital's emergency room.
