Application Guidelines: Campus-Based Programs
Deadline dates for application materials (note: Individual applications are reviewed as a group after the deadlines below. Decisions are generally announced 3 to 4 weeks after the published deadlines):
Fall semester: May 1
Spring semester: October 1
Summer session: March 1
You can start your studies in any semester, but to get through the program in the shortest amount of time, consider starting in the summer.
Gather all your application materials into one packet and send all materials at one time to the Graduate School office.
Required materials to be submitted:
- Creative Studies Application Requirements
- Graduate Admissions Application (your major code to fill out on form is: CRT)
- Successful review by the Graduate Admissions Committee
- Student VISA for all international applicants is mandatory. International students, for whom English is a second language, must take the TOEFL english proficiency exam.

Once you have been accepted into the program, you will be issued a visa. Visa questions can be directed to Dr. Jean F. Gounard, director, International Student Affairs Office.
