Application Guidelines: Campus-Based Programs
Guidelines for Applying to the Creative Studies Campus-Based Master's and Certificate Programs
Deadline dates for application materials:
Fall semester: May 1
Spring semester: October 1
Summer session: March 1
You can start your studies in any semester, but to get through the program in the shortest amount of time, consider starting in the summer.
Gather all your application materials into one packet and send all materials at one time to the Graduate School office.
Required materials to be submitted:
- Official college transcript for undergraduate degree. Applicants with international degrees must have their transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
- Graduate admissions application packet and application fee payment (your major code to fill out on form is 6701 for the graduate certificate and 6700 for the M.S. program)
- Letter of Intent that describes your interest in the program and and how it fits your educational and professional goals (serves also as a sample of your writing skills)
- Two (2) reference forms (PDF, 78KB)

Once you have been accepted into the program, you will be issued a visa. Visa questions can be directed to Dr. Jean F. Gounard, director, International Student Affairs Office.
