Who hires your graduates and what type of employment are they getting?

Generally our students are already in their professional careers.  Although those who transition into another career or begin in a new career go into consulting, training, teaching, public relations, and other various work that relies on creative thinking and facilitation skills.

How much time is required to stay on campus for the distance certificate program?

There are TWO, two-week summer institutes held in June in Buffalo for the graduate certificate with an additional one-week institute for the Master of Science degree.

Where do students stay for the two-week institue in the summer?

Most students stay directly on campus for $32 a night.  There are also a number of hotels in the local area.

Are the two-week summer institutes in Buffalo for the distance certificate mandatory?

Given the experiential nature of our courses in Buffalo, all students must attend the two-week summer institutes.

How many times do I need to come to Buffalo?

For the graduate certificate, you would need to attend a total of TWO, two-week summer institutes, one the first summer, and one the following summer. To complete the Master of Science degree, you would need to attend one more additional summer institute.

How much does the program cost?

For New York State residents, the cost is approximately $888 USD per course, and for residents outside of New York State, the cost is approximately $1364 USD per course. There are a total of six courses in the graduate certificate, with an additional five in the Master of Science degree.
