Branching Out

Buffalo State is the only institution of higher education in the world that offers a master of science degree in creativity studies.

Here is the place on the web to come to find valuable resources about creativity. Browse through titles of most everything our faculty has written or presented about the subject, find the books that changed the way the world views creativity written by individuals researching and studying right here at the International Center for Studies in Creativity. View videos and listen to audio casts by faculty and guests of the center. Read theses and projects completed by our 300 graduates, get lost in the web of links, and don't forget to pick up a few freebies before you leave.

We also offer resources to our students that are exclusive, comprehensive, and unique to our program.

Creative Studies Library
Visitors from around the world come to Buffalo State College to examine our extensive collection of creativity related literature—the largest of its kind in the world. This non-circulating collection of books and other materials is known as the Creative Studies Library and is located within the E. H. Butler Library. It contains almost 6,000 books, dissertations, and rare archival material relating to creativity.

Information Station Resource Room
A wide selection of books, journals, and theses projects are available for reference in the Creative Studies Information Station Resource Room, Chase Hall 226.
