"You'll be amazed at the many uses of the Creative Studies degree."

Suzanne Vosburg had a background in Arts and Sciences and was interested in exploring how creativity was connected with human behavior. After attending the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI), her interest in creativity piqued. With training from the International Center for Studies in Creativity faculty, Suzanne built her research and facilitation skills and applies her learning in her daily life.

Suzanne went on to earn her Ph.D. at the University of Bergen and is currently working as a research scientist at Columbia University. What's that got to do with creativity?! "Quite a bit," Suzanne says. "My job involves being able to think in creative ways about research design and data analysis, and the other significant benefit has been to be able to think flexibly about solving everyday problems that emerge." At work, her degree in Creative Studies comes in handy for facilitating all of the obstacles she encounters in the workplace. Suzanne also appreciates the training she recieved on cognitive styles and personality types.

"The Creative Studies Program is a voyage of self-discovery."
