Expert-2-Expert Conference

Coming May 13-16, 2012

The International Center for Studies in Creativity is proud to again offer for our community the Expert-2-Expert (E2E) conference experience. E2E serves as a vehicle to involve alumni, students, faculty and other creativity experts in a vibrant community dedicated to supporting one another's learning and practice. The conference consists of a variety of workshops as well as social events to provide ample opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, be reenergized by the exciting advances of our community, and feel refreshed by the creative, supportive environment that defines the ICSC experience.

We were thrilled to have over 100 participants come or return to the Buffalo State College campus to reconnect with the ICSC at E2E 2010. We were pleased with the feedback we received and have taken your thoughts and comments into consideration as we continue to create an energizing experience for 2011. Here are some of the new features for this year:

  • New Start and End Time: The Conference will open the evening of Sunday, May 15 and run through the morning of Wednesday, May 18, allowing participants ample travel time to return home at the conclusion of the conference
  • The E2E Opening Ceremony: A business -formal dinner featuring ample time to mix and mingle, our Keynote presentation, an update of ICSC progress over the past year and a conference overview.
  • Conference Orientation: For new participants or those who would prefer a guided experience through E2E.
  • The New Experts Night: The students become the teacher as conference participants interact with the current student body of the ICSC to share in their latest research and discoveries.
  • Tastes of Creativity: An evening of innovative sharing, share your ideas or learn something new in a fast paced, interactive environment.
  • Faculty Features: See what the faculty has been up to lately! Select faculty will discuss current research and new ideas.

Expert-2-Expert will take place from Sunday, May 15 through Wednesday, May 18 on the Buffalo State College campus. We will have featured presenters providing enriched, extended presentations. We also invite our alumni, students, faculty and friends to submit proposals for 90 minute sessions.

Please consider this website the hub for information related to the conference. The website will be regularly updated as presenters are added and other events and conference features are confirmed.
