Current position: Chief of Police for the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Police Department, 2007 - present

Idaho State Police, 1976 - 2007

  • I worked in virtually every division rising to rank of captain and was also commander of the state police Crowd Intervention Team.
  • I’m a recipient of ISP’s highest award for Valor (Medal of Valor) and also the Dept’s 3rd highest award for valor (Distinguished Achievement Award).
  • In 2007 I retired from ISP to accept an appointment as Chief of Police for the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Police Department.

North Idaho College, adjunct faculty member, 1989- present, instruct CJ 103 Intro to Criminal Justice


Lewis Clark State College (CDA), adjunct faculty member, 2001 - present: instruct 4 classes (management, public policy, political science)
