Need to Report a Computer or Printing Problem?

Use this form to submit a request for computer or printer service. Before submitting a request, be sure to go through each of the troubleshooting steps listed below to try and resolve your problem. Your request will be e-mailed to the Computing Help Desk and a staff member will contact you as soon as possible. 

Important! Many intermittent problems can be resolved by completely shutting down the computer/printer. Before submitting a request for service, try powering down your device, and then power it back on.

  *Note: All Buffalo State College computers have a device name sticker located on top of the tower. This sticker begins with a two letter abbreviation of your building, followed by the letter "P" (for PCs) or the letter "M" (for MACs). For example, a PC located in Grover Cleveland would have a device name sticker beginning with the letters "GCP" or "GCPE." These letters will be followed by a 3 or 4 digit number. A typical device code looks like this: GCP123 or GCPE4567.

  **Note: Please include as much relevant information as possible about the problem you are having. This includes computer and/or printer error messages, the program you were in when the problem occurred, and any steps you took to try and resolve the problem.
