Degree Requirements

Department Requirements for the Master's Degree and the
Certificate of Advanced Study

The student must:
1. Complete all required department course work with the distribution of courses specified in the department curriculum.

2. Have an overall academic grade point average of not less than 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0).

3. Pass a comprehensive examination, written and/or oral, or other form of evaluation as specified by the department at the end of the internship year.

4. Accumulate no more than eight semester hours of C-grade course credit.

5. Fulfill the other Buffalo State College degree requirements as described in the current college Graduate Catalog.
