Student Workshops

During the first semester and throughout their studies, students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a variety of traditional craft and art techniques. Extra-curricular papermaking, printing and bookbinding workshops are offered. Student workshops focus, for example, on the fabrication of protective boxes for books, on the replication of historic frame structures, or on metal working. Students also have enrolled in extra-curricular courses at the SUNY at Buffalo or at Buffalo State College in ceramics or wood working.

Adjunct instructor Harriet Beaubien gives students an intensive archaeological workshop.
