Please note: Beginning in Spring 2008, Buffalo State College will grant tuition remission to all Art Conservation students, so students will not be required to pay tuition. Foreign students must pay nonresident tuition and may be responsible for the difference between resident/nonresident tuition. (See Student Accounts)

Buffalo State requires all full-time undergraduate and graduate students to have insurance coverage. For more information on this plan please see the Weigel Health Center website where you can download a brochure. International students are also required to have health insurance ($951). There is an insurance plan offered through the Buffalo State College Research Foundation as well which students will receive information on when accepted into the program. If you have your own insurance coverage, proof of it is required to waive the student health insurance fee.

Graduate Housing

Although campus dormitory rooms are available, students have preferred to rent nearby apartments that are plentiful and inexpensive. While some assistance in finding suitable housing is available through the department and college, students are responsible for locating their own accommodations.

Student Health Services
The Weigel Health Center provides comprehensive health services for all registered students. A health record with proper proof of immunization for measles, mumps, and rubella must be on file at Weigel Health Center prior to registration. A comprehensive health insurance plan is available for purchase by all students. For more information on this plan please see the Weigel Health Center website where you can download a brochure as a PDF document. Foreign nationals must carry a special health insurance policy and should contact the college's International Student Office for details.

On-Campus Parking
Parking for students is available on campus. All vehicles parked on campus, except those in metered areas, are required to display valid parking permits. Students can purchase a parking permit from the Student Accounts office for $70 which is valid for the academic year.
