About
the Educational Computing Master's Program
This program is primarily designed for K-12 educators who wish to develop and expand their skills in the education application of computers. Emphasis is given to the use of computers in the instructional process. As such, it is significantly different from a graduate degree program in Computer Science. Graduates of Educational Computing program will be able to:

| EDF 503 | Educational Psychology | 3 credit hours |
| EDU 670 | Principles of Curriculum Design | 3 credit hours |
| EDF 689 | Methods & Techniques of Educational Research | 3 credit hours |
| Educational Computing Core: |
15 credit hours |
| EDC 601 | Instructional Technologies | 3 credit hours |
| EDC 672 | The Microcomputer in the Instructional Program | 3 credit hours |
| EDC 690 | Master's Project in Computer Applications in Instruction | 3 credit hours |
| EDC 707 | Computer Applications in Education Administration | 3 credit hours |
| And one of the following: |
| EDC 602 | Visual Basic Programming for Educators | 3 credit hours |
| EDC 604 | Authoring for Educators | 3 credit hours |
| Content Core : | 12 credit hours |
| Four courses in content will be taken in the area in which students are seeking professional certification or 12 credit hours by advisement for those not seeking certification. |
