Purpose
What is the purpose of NSE's annual conference?
The annual conference is designed for sharing information regarding the program, in-service training, conducting consortium business, and placing students for the following academic year.

Location and Timing
Where and when is the annual conference held?
The NSE conference is held the second week of March each year and is rotated among the five geographic regions designated by NSE.

Conference Attendance
Am I required to attend the placement conference?
Conference attendance is a condition of NSE membership. All coordinators are expected to attend. (see NSE Handbook Section 11.1.4)

Conference Travel
What happens if my campus won't fund my travel to the conference?
If your campus determines that you cannot attend the conference, your campus will be charged a conference representation and placement fee. Not attending the conference does not dismiss the campus from the placement obligations of the conference. (see NSE Handbook Section 16.3)
