The National Student Exchange is a consortium of colleges and universities in the United States, its territories, and Canada designed to facilitate exchange opportunities for students among its member campuses. Founded in 1968 as a not-for-profit education association, NSE has established a reputation for quality service, and has placed more than 70,000 students. The program is a model for sharing of academic resources among a nationwide network of colleges and universities.
