Virtually every object and environment is transformed by a design process. Graduates of the design program are prepared to meet consumers' needs by working in their chosen specialties—ceramics, communication design, fibers, metals/jewelry, or wood/furniture.
The Design Department provides students with celebrated faculty who are experts in a wide range of mediums. Working with these accomplished artists/designers, students delve into studio intensive-study majors. Whatever your preferred design medium, Buffalo State's Design Department offers the faculty, facilities, and artistic freedom to help you succeed.
