All undergraduate degree candidates must meet the following college-wide graduation requirements:
* Successful completion of required coursework in the declared major
* Successful completion of at least 120 credits, which include the major courses listed and:
o 39-66 credits of general education requirements
o 45 credits of upper division (included in major and general education courses)
o 32 credits taken at Buffalo State, including the last 16
o 6 credits must be writing intensive courses
* Final minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 and major GPA of 2.5
* Successful clearing of all I, N, or X grades

SPECIAL DIRECTIVES
A portfolio review is required after completion of DES 101, DES 103, FAR 101, FAR 240 and the completion of the introductory course of the chosen concentration (DES 220). To continue in the B.S. degree program, the student must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in the major. Ultimately the student is responsible for fulfilling all courses required for graduation.
