Strategies in working with students who have ADD/ADHD:

  • Much of what was suggested for students with learning disabilities is also suggested for students with attention disorders.

  • Time management and completion of projects and papers are persistent problems for this group of students. Clear, firm deadlines and models of what is needed as well as referrals to the writing and study skill specialists on campus will decrease the burden on faculty somewhat.
