The Earth Sciences and Science Education Department continued its commitment to incorporating field experiences into the curriculum by running two long-distance field trips in fall 2011, in addition to eight local trips to the Chestnut Ridge area in Hamburg and East Aurora for the Field Geology class (GES 450W).
