Environmental issues (local and global), sediment dynamics, coastal processes, and oceanography. On-going research includes: characterization of bottom morphology and sediment transport processes in the Buffalo River using side-scan sonar and sediment trend analysis, and environmental changes in Buffalo during the past century. Dr. Singer is the also the director of the Office of Undergraduate Research.
