Geological Field Trips
Western New York is host to a wide variety of geological landscapes for field study. Along with the region's most famous natural attractions, Niagara Falls and the Niagara Gorge, the region contains many sites of natural wonder and splendor.
Students are given many opportunities for field experiences, both as part of regular geology class field trips and during undergraduate research with faculty.
