Welcome to the Educational Foundations Department at Buffalo State College.

Our department prepares graduates for professional and academic careers in a wide variety of fields—from counseling and adult education to administration and human resource development.

Our distinguished faculty combine a wealth of academic research and professional experience in teaching highly motivated students in a curriculum designed to develop tomorrow's leaders. The department provides instruction in four foundational areas: philosophical, sociological, historical, and psychological, housing renown academic programs in Career and Technical Education (CTE), Adult Education, and Human Services Administration.
