Childhood Education majors with concentrations in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, French, Spanish, or Italian may choose to extend their teaching certification to grades 7 to 9. In the certification section, you will find requirements for extensions to the Childhood 1 to 6 certificate as well as required course additions and adaptations.
