The English Department at Buffalo State is multi-faceted—offering courses in writing, language, film, literary theory, and literature. The department offers degress in English, English Education, and Writing.
By focusing on literary studies, the teaching of exemplary written and oral expression, and the development of reflective teachers of English (7-12), the department is dedicated to the intellectual, personal, and professional growth of its students and faculty.
