The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is responsible for providing environmental health and safety programs to campus users and workers. EH&S works closely with maintenance, residence life, campus food services, service contractors, campus administrators and faculty to ensure that work and residential environments at Buffalo State College are compliant with environmental and safety regulations. Our Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Office of Environmental Health and Safety to provide a safe and healthy campus environment for students, faculty, staff, contractors and visitors. We accomplish our mission by maintaining compliance with Federal, State and Local rules and regulations. Our commitment to safety includes not only compliance with regulatory requirements, but also education, consultation and training services for the campus community.
There are four primary divisions of the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. They are:
