2012 Plunge

The faculty and students of  the Exceptional Education department along with other students from Buffalo State College were “Freezin’ for Reason” on Saturday,    December 1, 2012 when they plunged into the icy waters of Lake Erie to raise money for the Special Olympics of New York.  The yearly event was held at Woodlawn Beach State Park where 1,200 Western New Yorkers participated and raised more than $135,000!! Buffalo State is credited with raising over $4000.00!!
