A ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 31, 2013, marked the re-opening of the third floor of Campbell Student Union after a nearly one-year rehabilitation. The rehab has transformed third-floor spaces -- including the Social Hall, Fireside Lounge, Assembly Hall and adjacent areas -- as well as the main lobby and basement lobby. It extends the useful life of the most heavily-trafficked building on the Buffalo State campus.
Improved spaces include beautifully renovated and expanded study and community areas; an enlarged and divisible Assembly Hall; and a fully-equipped Social Hall with audio/visual and lighting control systems and an expanded stage.
