At Buffalo State you'll find 32 parking lots interspersed  throughout the 125-acre campus.  If you will be parking at Buffalo State, please consult these instructions about where you may park on campus and familiarize yourself with these parking regulations.  All vehicles parked at Buffalo State, except those in metered areas, are required to display valid college parking permits according to instructions.  Signs are displayed at each parking lot to indicate parking restrictions for that area.

While there is an adequate number of parking spaces on campus, as at other universities, we understand that parking may not be available as close as you would like to your particular campus destination.

Campus parking rules and regulations have been developed to provide for the safety and convenience of  the members of the Buffalo State community.  Enforcement of these regulations is necessary to ensure that all students, faculty, staff and visitors have consistent and fair opportunities to park.  Your compliance with these rules is greatly appreciated.

Temporary Parking Permits

Parking meters are available in Lots G-25, I-30, R-3 and R-4, and are enforced until 7:00 p.m. Visitors also may obtain free temporary parking permits from the Parking Services Office or University Police for use in student lots.

Individuals invited to campus by a campus department or office are required to display a temporary permit when parking on campus. Permits should be obtained through the inviting department in advance of arrival.

One-day temporary permits also are available for students and staff. Temporary permits are valid only in lots specified on the permit. Temporary permits are not valid in reserved spaces, those designated for maintenance vehicles, or metered areas.
