The Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Classified Service is a SUNY system-level award that recognizes superior performance and extraordinary achievement by employees in the Classified Service. Members of the Buffalo State community are encouraged to submit nominations for deserving colleagues.
Nominees should be individuals who not only continuously demonstrate outstanding achievement and skill, but who also demonstrate excellence in activities beyond the scope of their job descriptions. Past honorees are:
2011-2012: Pamela M. Bohin, Agency Program Aide, Registrar's Office
2010-2011: Anna E. Cedri, Secretary 1, Dean of Students' Office
2009-2010: Margaret E. Schrembs, Secretary 1, College Relations Office
2008-2009: William C. Smith, Janitor, Custodial Services
