Fee waivers are granted for Buffalo State students who are enrolled in study-abroad, or in on-line courses exclusively, where the classes never meet on campus. Buffalo State has adopted individual policies that address on-line, off-site, and part-time students fairly:
- On-line students are entitled to waiver of the health fee. Waivers are not automatic: Students seeking fee waivers must apply for them with the Weigel Health Center, adhering to stated deadlines.
- Study-abroad students are entitled to waiver of the athletic, health, student activity and transportation fees. The International and Exhange Programs Office performs the fee waiver request process on behalf of these students.
- Part-time students are charged mandatory fees on a per-credit hour basis.
