After completing the FAFSA you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) from the federal processor. This form summarizes all the information that was provided on the FAFSA and gives further instructions.
If you listed an e-mail address on the FAFSA you will be sent a link that will take you to your SAR on the Internet. Otherwise, you will be sent a paper SAR in the mail.
Review the SAR to make sure the information is accurate. If corrections are necessary submit them via the FAFSA website or by using a paper version of the SAR.
Corrections usually takes two to four weeks to be processed if done via paper and less than one week if done electronically.
