AVOIDING OBSTACLES

Students readmitted after being granted clemency usually are on federal aid probation despite having their GPA recalculated.  The courses covered by the clemency policy remain on the academic record as attempted courses, but do not count as earned credits.

For federal aid purposes, as long as students pass all classes for which they are registered their probationary status will be continued until they come back into compliance with the completion rate component of the federal SAP policy.
