Buffalo State does not negotiate financial aid packages. However, if you believe that there are extenuating circumstances which should be considered in the determination of your aid eligibility submit the Special Circumstances Form or Loss of Income Form as is appropriate.
It is the policy of Buffalo State to award loans first and work-study second. If you are not interested in loans but want work-study instead you may request that your award be revised accordingly. Simply send the Financial Aid Office a note requesting work-study instead of loans and your award will be adjusted if you are eligible and if there are still work-study funds available.
