WORK-STUDY

Your employer depends upon you.  It is expected that you will notify your supervisor if there is any reason that you cannot be at work when you are scheduled.  If you are not meeting the work expectations of your supervisor you may be terminated.  Make sure you have a clear understanding of your supervisor's expectations before you start work in the department.

If for any reason you want to stop working for a specific department you must notify your supervisor.  Once notification has been made you can be hired by a different department if a position is available.

If a student submits fraudulent time cards to payroll, e.g. the card is altered or hours are listed that the student did not work, the student will immediately be terminated from the work-study program.  Further, they will be referred to student judicial and may also be reported to the US Department of Education Office of Inspector General or local law enforcement authorities.
