Lin Xia Jiang is professor of Art and Coordinator of the Painting and Drawing Program in the Fine Arts Department of Buffalo State College. Educated both in China and the United States, Jiang has exhibited his paintings regionally, nationally and internationally. His paintings are in numerous private, cooperative and public collections which include those of Phillip Morris Company Inc., New York; Rantrack Cooperation, Seattle; Oregon Health Sciences University; Oregon State University, the State University of New York at Potsdam, New York; Burchfield-Penny Art Center, Buffalo, New York; Buffalo State College; Roswell Cancer Research Institute in Buffalo, NY and Japan.

Mr. Jiang has been invited as guest juror, visiting artist lecturer and panelist by institutions and organizations such as the School of Art at Rochester Institute of Technology, Oregon State University, St. Lawrence University, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Wuhan University in China, School of Fine Arts at the Capital Normal University in Beijing and The School of Fine Arts at Hainan University in China. His painting and drawings have been published in art publications and books, including "New American Paintings", “Imaging the Word", “Drawing from Life", "LA Biennial International Invitational 2001", "Studio Visit 2010", "Figurama 2010", and "New Art International." A frequent award recipient at juried shows, locally Mr. Jiang’s work has been chosen for exhibitions at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield Penny Art Center, and Carnegie Art Center.
