Graduate/Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities
Buffalo State College Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship (two awards - $500 each): One scholarship will be awarded to either an undergraduate or graduate student. Applicant must be a child or grandchild of a Buffalo State College Alumnus; relationship of student to alumnus and graduation year of alumnus must be specified.
Military Service Scholarship ($250): Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or part-time graduate student. Applicant must also be currently serving or have prior service in any branch of the United States military. Preference will be given to veterans who served on active duty two or more years.
Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities
Brigitte V. Kallen Scholarship (three awards - $500 each): Applicant must be balancing work and school; demonstrating a strong work ethic and community involvement; and have achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Charles Weber Scholarship (two awards - $500 each): Applicant must be majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Dr. G. Wesley Ketcham Scholarship (three awards - $650 each): Applicant must be a full-time Technology Education major.
Hazel M. Bleeker Scholarship (two awards - $750 each): Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
Hazel MacCartney Scholarship ($1,000): Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
Josephine Syracuse Scholarship ($150): Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to community service and have a good GPA.
Robert and Gloria Laskie Scholarship ($250): Applicant must be an Elementary Education major who has completed at least one year at Buffalo State College and who has contributed to campus life through participation in student activities.
Schmidt/Eckert Scholarship (three awards - $600 each): Applicant preference to a freshman majoring in Art Education.
