Advisement Info

The following information is meant to help students plan their coursework. It is by no means meant to substitute for academic advisement. Your must see your academic adviser prior to registering for courses each semester. A list of academic advisers can be found on the department office door (Classroom Building A213).

The following files (PDF) show our current Geography and Planning major programs with up-to-date information on, for example, when each course is offered and if a course also has an Intellectual Foundations (IF) designation.  Notes on changes to the programs are also included.

Our Majors (Geography) (Planning)

The files below will help you navigate what course to take when.  We’ve included Roadmaps for both incoming Freshmen and Transfer students.

The following table lists the Geography & Planning concentration electives the Department plans to offer over the next few semesters. While we may cancel any course due to low enrollment, changes in instructors, etc., efforts will be made to maintain this plan.
