Teaches meteorology and climatology courses, as well as World Natural Environments (GEG 101), Cavern Studies (GEG 120), Conservation and Environmental Management (GEG 307), and Arctic Geography (GEG 359). Teaching interests also include place-based field courses in: Cambodia, China, the Arctic, and the Bahamas. Current research focuses on climate studies in Western New York, beach closures related to precipitation events, cave climatology, and air quality in Southeast Asia.  Promotes K-12 geographic education in New York and Southeast Asia. Past Co-ccordinator of the New York Geographic Alliance. Coordinates the Meteorology/Climatology Minor at Buffalo State. Full member of the American Meteorological Society, National Weather Association, and the National Speleological Society. WeatherPage:  http://geographyplanning.buffalostate.edu/Weatherpage.htm  This page shows current weather conditions at Buffalo State College and the GLC Field Station (foot of Porter Avenue, confluence of Lake Erie and the Niagara River). This page also provides local weather links, information about the Meteorology & Climatology Program at Buffalo State College, and research posters, podcasts and other products.
