GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT

RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS

Geography and Planning students have many opportunities to learn both inside and outside of the classroom.  Students are encouraged to participate in internship programs and utilize the resources at the College's Career Development Center.  They also have the chance to go on short field trips to places like local streams and caves or they can take a placed-based learning course and travel to faraway places such as the Bahamas and the Canadian Arctic. Lastly, students can work with individual faculty members on research projects and then attend and present research at professional conferences.
