About the Program
The master of science in physics education is designed for teachers who wish to combine advanced work in physics with graduate work in education.
Buffalo State also offers a master of science in physics education with alternative certification.

Admission Requirements
1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale).
2. A New York State Certificate of Qualification (CQ), provisional certificate, or initial certificate in a secondary science.
3. An application packet including personal statement and three letters of reference.
4. An interview may be required.
