Orientation
The next orientation takes place on Monday, January 7, 2008, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Orientation is an introduction to the student services and academic policies at Buffalo State and you will meet with individual academic departments and learn about program-specific information.
Register online or contact the Graduate School at (716) 878-5601 by Friday, January 4, 2008.
The Graduate School will host its New Student Orientation Program for newly accepted students, Monday, January 7, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Classroom Building. The program will provide students with an opportunity to learn about available services and to meet with student services representatives, the Graduate School staff, and other new students. An information session will be held for some programs for students to meet with a faculty representative from their major for important program-specific information.
Arrive early (pre-registration is 4:15 – 4:45 p.m.) to get your photo I.D. taken and complete paperwork for your parking permit. Refreshments will be served.
The first part of the program will include a formal presentation by student service representatives on the various offices on campus. During the second part of the program, student will have an opportunity to meet with faculty for program specific information and instructions. Come out and meet new students in your program!
